Heal Your Grief.
End Your Suffering.
So You Can Live Again.
Coming in 2026!
When you’re grieving, sometimes reading isn’t enough. You need to hear a voice, see a face, and feel like someone is walking this road with you. That’s why I created the VickiJolene YouTube Channel —a place where I speak to you personally from my heart, sharing real stories, deep insights, and practical tools for healing.
My videos align with the topics in Margaret’s Grief Group – The Coffee Shop Series, as well as other subjects that arise in real-life grief work. Some episodes focus on the emotional experiences we face—such as shock, confusion, or yearning—while others explore practical issues, including holidays, anniversaries, and how to handle social pressure.
I weave in the Hero’s Journey framework to help you see grief as a path you are traveling—a map through rocky, muddy, difficult times toward a life where you can carry your love forward while finding meaning again.
My gift book, “You’re Not Crazy, You’re Grieving,” will help you navigate your own journey and heal your grief.
You’ll also hear teaching moments drawn from my training as a Certified Grief Educator with Dr. David Kessler, along with the compassionate wisdom of Dr. Alan Wolfelt, and other experts, including scientists, psychologists, and those grievers who share hope and healing stories.
What You’ll Find on My Channel in 2026
-
Coordinated content with the blog, so you can learn in multiple ways—by reading and by listening/watching.
-
Personal teaching from me—I don’t just read the blogs aloud. I share additional thoughts, personal experiences, and encouragement that go beyond the written posts.
-
Practical coping strategies you can begin using today.
-
Gentle encouragement to give yourself grace, take one step at a time, and know you are not alone.
- Stories, Meditations, Spiritual wisdom from around the globe, Prayers of blessing, and Scientific insights.
What You Won’t Find
- Pet loss, Divorce, Catastrophic events, Job loss, Moving, and more.
You’ll be able to apply my teachings to every form of loss. However, my work focuses specifically on human loss—the death of a loved one.
Issues such as the grief of long-term caregivers who grieve for years preceding a death will be included, as well as dealing with challenges that come with death, such as downsizing, adult children, dating again, and reinventing your life.
I honor all kinds of grief, but this channel stays within that lane so I can offer the most meaningful and accurate guidance.
Why Watch?
Sometimes, seeing someone’s eyes, hearing the emotion in their voice, and knowing they’ve been through it all makes all the difference. I created this channel because I wanted you to feel companioned—not just informed—on your grief journey.
I know the loneliness that follows loss. I know the ache of wanting your loved one back and the fog that makes even simple tasks overwhelming. My hope is that each video feels like sitting across the table with a cup of coffee together, talking honestly about the hardest parts of grief—and the hope that still exists.
